Miami, Okla. – Thursday, March 6, 2014 – Officials at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO), announced that Igor Ibaka and Christian Leach were recently voted All Region. This award is based on the votes of all the coaches in the Region II conference.


"Igor and Christian have been instrumental in our playing this season," said Dustin Grover, head coach for the Golden Norse. "Igor has been a major force down low in rebounding and scoring from under the basket. Christian is exceptionally talented in handling the ball and can score from outside as well as driving the ball in." Grover further stated, "In addition to being great athletes, they are both exceptional young men, and I am very proud that the coaches within our conference recognize them as well."
 
Ibaka is a 6'9" post from the Democratic Republic of Congo who leads the conference with an average of 9.7 rebounds. He has a 66 field goal percentage and averages 13.3 points per game. 
 
Leach is a 6'4" guard from D.C. who averages 15 points, shoots 55 percent from the field and has a 2.4 assist to turnover ratio. 
 
Ibaka and Leach were also voted All Conference along with Ja'Mill Powell, a 6'6" wing from Bridgeport, Conn.
